TABERNACLE UNITED REFORM
LLANVACHES
The first independent church in Wales, founded in 1639 by William Wroth – Rector of Llanvaches.
Meetings were held where ever they could, in homes until a chapel was erected in 1803 rebuilt on the present site with re-modelling carried out in the 1920’s when the Wroth Memorial Hall was added as a lasting memorial the founder. The Tabernacle is now a grade II listed building for its important historic association.
