Built in 1904 to a design of Charles Townsend. The roughcast
exterior shows the influence of Voysey. The interior was designed by Sir William
Reynolds-Stephens using a theme of the rose-tree and lily, and it is the most complete Art
Nouveau church in England. The rood screen is composed of six brass rose-trees and
the nave is panelled in walnut.
