A Victorian church, built in
1878, of flint with stone dressings. It was designed by E. C. Lee, who designed St Thomas Church in Brentwood. It has a chancel, nave, south aisle and a tower placed,
unexpectedly on the north - east with broach spire, shingled, and a good staircase turret.
