PALAU GUELL CHIMNEYS - BARCELONA Palau Guell is a mansion in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudi for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Guell in 1886 - 1888. The roof has 20 chimneys and Gaudi used them to provide striking sculptural interest through their unusual shapes, imaginative brickwork or cladding. These three were clad in brightly coloured tiles.
