ANSON'S SCHOOL Edward Anson’s school was founded under his will of 1776. It opened in 1785, transferring to a new building in 1850 next to the national school with which it merged in 1896. Next door is The Limes which was built by a pupil of Anson’s school, William Archer, it also became a school in 1858 |
