ST ANDREW'S CHURCH In 1020 Canute built a church to mark his defeat of the Saxons. Some of this material may have been used in this church, which features flint rubble, Tudor brick, Roman brick and Kentish ragstone. The nave, chancel and tower are 14th c., the chancel east wall is Tudor and the nave window is 18th c. |
