ST MARY'S CHURCH All that remained of the once large village of Buttsbury, after the Black Death, was this solitary church. The north door is possibly Anglo Saxon and the east windows are 14th century. The bricks on the floor came from the Stock potteries. The weatherboard belfry to the west is on a brick base. |
